It’s National Nature Photography Day

NNPD

I had just finished mow the yard and a deer and her and very young fawn ran though the yard. The mother jumped the fence but the fawn could not make the jump. I quickly grabbed my camera and move into a position that I knew the fawn would have to travel to return to its mother. I stood very still and the fawn walked within 5 feet of me before it discovered the electric fence the hard way. After being zapped on the nose it ran right pass me and jumped through the fence and ran quickly to catch up with its mother.

Now that was a close encounter of the best kind on National Nature Photography Day.

Tip of the Day: Always keep your camera close by, you never know when nature is going to give you an opportunity.
